Visa & Documentation

• A valid passport with minimum 6 months validity from the date of return is mandatory.
• Russia e-Visa is subject to approval by Russian authorities; MyTourMakers only assists with processing and cannot guarantee visa approval.
• Visa processing timelines may vary based on nationality, embassy workload, and season — clients are advised to share documents at least 15–20 days prior to departure.
• Any changes in visa policy, application fees, or documentation requirements by the Russian government are beyond our control and will be communicated as and when updated.
• Original passport, passport-size photographs, and any additional documents (proof of accommodation, travel insurance, return tickets) may be required as per current embassy guidelines.

Weather & Best Time to Travel

• Russia experiences extreme seasonal variation — winters (Nov–Mar) can drop below -15°C, while summers (Jun–Aug) are mild and pleasant (15–25°C).
• Recommended travel season: May to September for comfortable sightseeing; winter travel (Dec–Feb) is popular for a "White Russia" experience but requires heavy winter clothing.
• Some outdoor attractions (river cruise, Sparrow Hills viewpoint) may have limited operations or altered timings during winter months or inclement weather — alternate arrangements will be offered where possible.

Currency & Payments

• The local currency is the Russian Ruble (RUB). Due to ongoing international sanctions, foreign cards (Visa/Mastercard issued outside Russia) do not work in Russia.
• Clients are strongly advised to carry sufficient cash (USD/EUR) and exchange it locally, as international banking apps, PayPal, and most foreign UPI/payment gateways are non-functional.
• Budget separately for meals, tips, shopping, and personal expenses not covered in the package.

Transport Notes

• The Moscow–St. Petersburg Sapsan train seats are subject to availability at the time of booking; seat allocation (window/aisle) cannot be guaranteed.
• Flight/train delays due to weather, technical, or operational issues are beyond our control; any resulting cost escalations (rebooking, extra night stay) will be borne by the client.

Sightseeing & Itinerary

• The sequence of sightseeing may be altered by the local operator depending on monument closures, weather, local events, or public holidays — without compromising on the overall inclusions.
• Some monuments (e.g., Kremlin, Hermitage) have limited daily visitor slots and may occasionally close for state functions/restoration without prior notice; alternate arrangements will be made where possible.
• Photography/videography may be restricted or chargeable at certain monuments (Kremlin, Armoury Chamber, Circus, etc.).
• Guide language: English-speaking guide included; requests for other languages should be raised at the time of booking (subject to availability and possible extra cost).

General Travel Advisory

• Given the current geopolitical situation, clients are advised to check the latest travel advisories issued by their home country's Ministry of External Affairs/Foreign Office before booking.
• Direct flight connectivity to Russia is limited from several countries; clients should reconfirm flight routes and layover visa requirements (if transiting through a third country) independently.
• Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, and baggage loss is strongly recommended and not included in the package cost.
• Mobile connectivity: International roaming may be limited or expensive; a local SIM/eSIM or pocket Wi-Fi is recommended for regular communication.

Miscellaneous

• Package prices are based on current exchange rates and cost of services; any fluctuation may lead to a revision in package cost before final invoicing.
• Child policy, single supplement charges, and extra bed costs are available on request.
• MyTourMakers acts as a facilitator between the client and local service providers (hotels, transport, guides) and is not liable for any service deficiency caused by third-party vendors, force majeure events, or government regulations.
• It is the client's responsibility to carry printed/digital copies of visa approval, hotel vouchers, insurance, and flight tickets throughout the trip.
